Position Summary:

Be part of a team that provides technical support and customer service for customers, sales representatives and international distributors. Support sales activities by managing demo instruments.  Supports some marketing and sales activities. This position is part-time 15-20 hours/week.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and coordinate all activities related to demo instruments
  • Perform routine quality checks on demo unit fleet to ensure operating correctly
  • Update all demo instruments with latest software versions
  • Manage demo unit calendar to meet the field teams needs
  • Execute logistics for demo units and other materials shipping in and out of office
  • Follow SOPs and utilized demo request forms and checklists
  • Collaborate with Sales Reps, Customers and Nexcelom personal to resolve product issues related to demo units
  • Ship out reagents and consumables for product demos to customers and Nexcelom personal
  • Update and Maintain CRM maintain customer support database applications
  • Record all interactions, data exchanges, inputs, etc. in Customer service database
  • Review and analyze demo instrument activities and issues and generate reports as needed
  • Perform routine outreach to customers for post-sale and service check-ins
  • Participate in support huddles and meetings
  • Assist with office operations tasks as needed

SKILLS and Qualifications:

  • BSc in a Biology based subject (or working towards)
  • Some cell culture experience with mammalian cell types
  • Good/professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Someone who is proactive
  • Efficient Record keeping

EDUCATION:

  • BS Biology or related science field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Bending to floor level

Part-time position 15-20 hours/week
