How often should calibration beads be run on the Cellaca?
Great question! So the beads are actually considered validation beads rather than calibration beads. The calibration of the instrument is something that must be done by one of our field service engineers. The validation beads are to be used at your discretion. They are manufactured at a known concentration range so you know that if your results fall in that range, your instrument is working well. Some labs like to incorporate the validation beads into their SOPs on a regular basis, some do not ever use them except at the initial install.
