Detection of novel CD276-CAR NK-92 mediated cytotoxicity of neuroblastoma tumor spheroids using plate-based image cytometry
Many factors and considerations must be optimized to develop the appropriate cell-based assays for gene therapy development.
Syngeneic tumor models and human immune cell-engrafted mice are two of the popular preclinical tools in immuno-oncology studies.
In this webinar, we highlight a variety of assays to support the development of cell therapies for solid tumors.
Nexcelom founder and CTO, Dr. Jean Qiu, describes 3 major reasons why we partner with global and local research organizations to streamline CAR-T workflow.
Directly image and count calcein AM-labeled target cells in a 96-well plate using Celigo image cytometer. Concurrent imaging and analysis in 8 minutes.
Poster: High-throughput immune complex analysis method for CAR T cell-mediated cytotoxicity using the Celigo Image Cytometer
Download our Poster Abstract: Cancer immunotherapy has been gaining momentum in the field of cancer research. Specifically, Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cell technology have introduced new methods to combat cancer. Direct cell-mediated cytotoxicity assays are required to assess the killing capability of the engineered CAR T cells. Traditionally, these assays are conducted by measuring the amount of released Chromium, calcein AM, or LDH molecules after the target cancer cells are killed with CAR T cells. These methods require a large amount of target cells which may not be ideal when working with donor primary samples. Additionally, they cannot [...]
It's White Paper Wednesday! Read our featured white paper: A Novel NK Cell-Mediated Cytotoxicity Detection Method Using the Cellometer Vision As part of the innate immune system, natural killer (NK) cells are the primary form of defense against tumor cells and assorted pathogens . A minor subset of NK cells (CD56brightCD16-) influence immune regulation via the secretion of cytokines interferon-γ and TNF-α . The major subset of NK cells (CD56dimCD16+), however, directly lyse their targets . Consequently, understanding the cytolytic functions of NK cells are key to understanding NK cell biology and function in adoptive immunotherapy. Download our white [...]
