If you’re using a microscope and hemacytometer to count your cells and determine viability, you might have felt like Sheldon, when he vacations in Amy’s lab and, among other things, helps out by counting the bacteria spores.  Everything’s going well until Amy returns to the lab, distracts Sheldon, and then he has to start over with his count.

Fortunately for you, you don’t have to be like Sheldon if you have an automated cell counter. We have bright field cell counters for cultured cells and Trypan Blue exclusion assays. We have dual fluorescent cell counters for messy, primary samples that are great with a nuclear stain such as Acridine Orange (AO) and Propidium Iodide (PI). We also have image cytometry systems, giving you the power to perform cell-based assays such as apoptosis, GFP/RFP Transfection, cell cycle, autophagy, mitochondrial potential, etc, with only 20 microliters of sample. All of our systems will take images and analyze the sample in less than a minute – with most systems completing in less than 30 seconds!  Our systems can image and analyze cells as small as 0.5 microns up to as large as 300 microns in size!
